I’m Courtney Waldron and I’m the teacher and coach behind CW Voice. Ella Fitzgerald once said, “The only thing better than singing is more singing.” I can’t agree more.
I live in Old Hickory, TN with my husband, Grant, and our three year old daughter, Colette. I love cookies and sunshine and 90s country music. If I could live in the balcony of the Ryman, I would (I wonder what rent would be like?). Lately, I’ve become embarrassingly addicted to reading memoirs, especially ones written by musicians. And I admit it – that latest Taylor Swift song is almost certainly stuck in my head.
Of course I’m a voice teacher and coach. I’m also a songwriter, and I’m working on my first EP in ten years as an artist! Music is my passion, and I love sharing it with my students. I love singers of all ages and levels, especially beginners. There is something really special about helping a new singer discover all the building blocks of a great voice. I may not be the only voice coach you ever have (I actually really hope I’m not!) but I will set you up for success no matter where you go in life or what you want to sing.
I studied music in high school and college, earning a bachelor’s degree in music from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
